NEW WILLENHALL FACTORY

Neachells Lane

We are delighted to announce the official opening of our new facility in Neachells Lane, Willenhall, West Midlands on 10th August 2015. This new facility replaces our previous Willenhall factory, which after 4 years we had simply outgrown.

The new facility allows the business to bring in new processes and manufacture a wider range of the Ritchie product portfolio in the heart of England, close to many of our customers and central to the regional divisions covered by our customer services representatives.

With this new facility, customers will enjoy improved logistics, enhanced product storage and a future Customer Visitor Centre.

The site, previously a Mercedez Benz truck maintenance facility, has been bought and refurbished by Ritchie. The gallery below shows some of the works undertaken, demonstrating Ritchie’s long term commitment to the area and strengthening of this part of the business. Works include filling in of the old inspection pits, painting and the rebranding of the buildings with the distinctive orange & white Ritchie logo.

Furthermore, in line with Ritchie’s commitment to the environment, the heating, lighting, and extraction systems have been upgraded to lower energy usage & emissions.

The site will continue to employ 10 people as well as 1 new apprentice, with further expansion in the pipeline. The site will continue to house advanced production facilities, delivering high-volume manufacture of agricultural equipment, with further Ritchie products being added later this year.

We wish our colleagues in the new factory well in their new home and look forward to showing the facility off to our customers in the area.
